Construction Update

Construction Update

INTRODUCTION

The following information sheet has been prepared to inform you of the details of our forthcoming renovations.

Given that the renovations will consist almost entirely of external areas of the club, impact on patrons will be negligible if at all, apart from our bowling club members who have currently disbanded. However, it is important that you are aware of what will be involved.

WHAT DO THE WORKS INVOLVE?

The works will represent Stage 35 (3) of our Masterplan and will involve:

  • Construction of new outdoor dining terrace and services.
  • Refurbishment of Rear Carpark.
  • Construction of 2 new Pickleball courts and a 3-rink bowling green.
  • Extensive R&M works to our switchboard, main roof, loading dock, and possibly the northernmost retaining wall.

WHAT IS THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD?

The construction is scheduled to take approximately 24 weeks. We plan to complete the entire project in one (1) stage as per the programme shown below:

Commencement Time: Monday 22 September 2025
Expected Completion Time: Mid – End of March 2026

The final date for completion of the project is to be confirmed and will be very weather permitting given the external nature of the works.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

The total cost of the entire project is approximately $5 million. This includes the cost of:

  • Construction
  • Furniture & Fittings

WHO ARE THE BUILDERS?

The Builders are Boden Projects. These are the same builders that designed our Masterplan and completed a number of previous stages including The Bench Sports Bar & The Jungle Play Zone.

HOW WILL THE CONSTRUCTION IMPACT ON OUR SERVICES & FACILITIES?

During the construction period there may be a small impact on our current services, particularly in the Pavillion & Liquid Lounge when new entryways are made. It may be necessary to make some temporary arrangements to some regular activities; however, this will be minor in the extreme.

Further details on these arrangements will be provided when the timing permits. This plan represents an exciting part of our progress and development as our Masterplan is concluding.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
